The NBA season is coming to an end as all the teams are playing 20 more games to complete the total of 82 games in the season. The standings for the teams have not changed as much, the only major changed that happened was the Houston Rockets are beating the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference for the first seed. As the season is almost over we can basically tell who made the playoffs. The NBA playoffs is where the most exciting basketball games happen as the top 8 team from each conference play each other from their own conference, and the best team from each conference will play each other in the NBA FINALS.
I already made my prediction of who the finalists are going to be for the 2018 NBA Finals and is going to be the Golden State Warriors vs the Cleveland Cavaliers, the two teams have faced each other for the past three NBA finals, and so far the Warriors are 2-1 against the Cavs. I believe the Warriors are going to win the NBA Finals again this year because they are an unstoppable force and a team that should not be messed with. Even though they have not has the best season so far compared to the last three seasons I believe that they are going to go absolutely off in the playoffs because of how their last three playoffs went. Their only competition this year is Oklahoma City Thunder and the Houston Rockets. The Cavaliers has had their worst season from those three past seasons but once they playoffs begin I am certain LeBron James is going to make sure the Cavs never lose a single playoffs round and make it all the way to the Finals.
My friend Clark Williams said who he thinks are going to be facing in the 2018 NBA Finals are the Oklahoma City Thunder vs the Cleveland Cavaliers. He thinks that the Oklahoma City Thunder will beat the Warriors in the playoffs because so far in this season the Thunder has won 2 games out of the 4 and the Warriors has only won 1 of out the 4, and each game the other team won they destroyed the other team. He also believes that the Thunder can stop the #1 seed Houston Rockets because they statistically have the better team. The Cavs on the other hand, Clark is a huge LeBron James fan, he has been a fan since he was in high school till now which is for about 15 years. He believes LeBron is going to destroy everyone in his way. The only team that’s in their way in their conference is Toronto Raptors and Boston Celtics and he believes LeBron will destroy them both. Once LeBron gets to the finals Clark believes he will win the whole thing because LeBron is the greatest player to ever play basketball.
We argued because we did not agree on the match up for NBA Finals, I said it was going to be Golden State Warriors vs the Cleveland Cavaliers, and he said the Oklahoma City Thunder vs the Cleveland Cavaliers. We talked and I told him that the Golden State Warriors have a better chance of beating the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference because statistically they are the better team and the Thunder aren’t doing that great in the season. I agreed with him that the Thunder would go far in the playoffs but they are not good enough to beat the Warriors nor the Rockets. We both agreed about LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers will win and beat everyone from their conference because honestly no one stands a chance against a beast like him, his nickname is the King so he is very good. We argued for a long time and it took us a very long time for us to reach an agreement.
We finally came to an agreement and we both agreed that the Cleveland Cavaliers would be the team to make it to the NBA Finals from the Eastern Conference and the Golden State Warriors would be their opponent. It took a long time for Clark to agree but he finally faced the cold harsh facts and agreed with me. We both agreed that the Golden State Warriors will face the Oklahoma City Thunder in the Western Conference Finals, which is the round before making it to the NBA Finals round.
Now I still stand with my thought and I still believe that the Warriors will win against the Oklahoma City Thunder in the playoffs along with any other team that is standing in their way in the Western Conference even the Houston Rockets, and I still believe that the Warriors will face the Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA Finals for the 4th straight year in a row. I believe that the Cavs will face the Boston Celtics in the Eastern Conference Finals where LeBron has to go against a very good friend and ex-teammate Kyrie Irving and I believe he is going to show Kyrie the Cavs are still better without him. Once LeBron and the Cleveland Cavaliers comes to the NBA Finals to face off Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson and the Golden State Warriors will sweep the Cavs 4-0 because Kyrie Irving was a big factor to the Cavs when he played there and now Cavs has a whole new team after trading most of their players so the Warriors have the upper hand in this match up, so I believe that the Golden State Warriors will be the 2018 NBA Champions.
