All-Stars Starting Lineup Announced

The All-Stars Starting Lineup for the NBA has finally been revealed. The NBA announced this a week ago that LeBron James of the Cleveland Cavaliers and Stephen Curry of the Golden State Warriors would be the captains and would decide who would be on their team for the All-Star Game. The All-Star game is a game where best players from the Western Conference and Eastern Conference play each other to entertain the fans. The game is East vs West and the best players from each conference are selected by the fans. This year the rules has changed and I believe it is because most of the best players in the NBA are on the Western Conference since they all left their team from the Eastern Conference. This year fans voted for 5 best players from each conference to be apart of the starting lineup in the All-Star game. The starting lineups from the East side are Giannis Antetokounmpo, DeMar DeRozan, Kyrie Irving, LeBron James, Joel Embiid, and for the West side they have Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, Anthony Davis, James Harden, DeMarcus Cousins. This year there will be team captains one from each conference so it turned out to be LeBron James and Stephen Curry. Both of them will get to pick from either conference who they want on their starting lineup. Then the head coach from each team will pick 7 reserve players to fill up the bench and team of 12 players. The whole roster for both teams for the All-Star game will be revealed on Thursday 22, 2018. You don’t want to miss out this All-Star Weekend, as they are going to include a NBA All-Star Celebrity game, as famous celebrities will come and play against each other and the Mt. Dew Rising Star game on Friday February 16th for all the Rookies and Sophomores in the League to showcase their talents. Saturday February 17th will be three major events the Taco Bell Skills Challenge which is where you find out with basketball has the best overall skill, then after would be the JBL 3-point contest where we find which player has the best 3-point shot, and finally the Verizon Dunk Contest, where we will see who has the craziest vertical and ability to dunk. As for the closing ceremony the 67th NBA All-Star game will take place on Sunday February 18th. Tune in on TNT and ESPN and don’t miss out, so you won’t be left out in many cool conversations.
